Take our 2018 salary survey and tell us what you think about your job in IT

Автор: | 03.07.2018

Computer Weekly’s annual salary survey provides one of the most comprehensive snapshots of IT professionals’ attitudes to employment and training.

Last year, more than 1200 UK IT workers took part, revealing average salaries between £50,000 and £75,000 a year, but with significant differences in wage growth depending on seniority and location.

The 2017 research also showed that nearly one-third of IT workers think they need more formal training to progress in their IT career. And the survey showed a worrying gender pay gap in the tech sector, with women paid, on average, 25% less than their male colleagues.

A number of roles in technology were on the rise last year, and those who could fill roles such as cyber security experts and data scientists were particularly in demand  — now we’re keen to find out which jobs offer the best opportunities for IT professionals over the next year.

We’re inviting readers to take part in our 2018 survey – and we’re also interested to hear from IT professionals across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific too.

You can click here to open a new window to take the survey, or complete it below — we look forward to finding out your views.
